Arusha and Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara is one of the smallest parks in Tanzania, at 648 square kilometres. Lake Manyara itself covers around one third of the park's area.
19 kilometres wide and with an area of 264 square kilometres, Ngorogoro Crater is an imposing sight, either from its rim or from its floor.
Serengeti and Oldupai Gorge
The 14,673 square kilometres of the Serengeti National Park contain a variety of landscapes, through which roam large herds of grazing animals, and the predators which rely on them. Oldupai Gorge cuts through the plains and is one of Africa's most important archaeological sites.
